there is a new revo on the market

as many of you may have herd there is a new revo coming out some time in April it's called the revo platinum, it boasts over 50 new features and hop-ups. here is traxxas's description of the new beast, they should have added a new engine into the mix i don't know why traxxas won't come out with a big block engine, that would be awesome.

The 2008 Revo Platinum Edition is designed specifically for the pro racer. We took everything we learned from 6 national championships and packed it all into the most advanced, high-performance racing monster truck ever created. The same forward-thinking technology, high-tech materials, and unsurpassed engineering that continue to set Revo apart from the pack are further magnified on the Revo Platinum Edition. All the exclusive factory team parts and trick setups are integrated into a lean and mean racing chassis that's engineered just for the track. Key enhancements include a larger 150cc fuel tank; strengthened axle housings with 17mm aluminum wheel hub adapters; center differential and rear brakes; innovative new Response Pro tires; larger, high-flow air filter; compact receiver box and servo mount; and powerful, dual digital high-torque steering servos. There are over 50 new features and setups in all.

overall I think this is a nice truck and for anyone considering to buy there first revo, buy the platinum edition but i would not sell my revo 3.3 to buy this. and another thing it's going to be $200 more than the revo 3.3, in my opinion it's not really worth it to me, my revo already has all of the same hop-ups

I just purchased my first Revo from traxxasrevo33.com I love it. Most of all its fun fast and ez to maintain. I had an old school T-Maxx it doesn't even compare. After the T-maxx I was about to go back to electric. but never again.

Thanks for the Post.
